Why call brand-new carriers

A new for-hire carrier is a buyer with a deadline.

01

They have to buy

A for-hire carrier can't haul until its liability coverage is on file with the FMCSA.

02

No incumbent agent

Often no one owns the account yet. No renewal date to wait for, no client to pry loose.

03

First call wins

New carriers get calls fast. A Monday list puts you in the first wave.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

From the FMCSA Company Census File, the official public register of US motor carriers published by the Department of Transportation. Every carrier that registers for a USDOT number appears there with its registration date.

Are these people who asked for a quote?

No. These are newly registered carriers for you to contact first. They need coverage, but your team makes the first call.

How fresh is each list?

Each Monday list covers carriers registered in the previous 7 days, as published by the FMCSA.

Does every carrier have an email?

Most new registrations include one. Every email is checked and marked Verified or Could not verify. Invalid emails and addresses belonging to filing services or other agencies are removed, so a few rows are phone-only.

Do these carriers already have insurance?

Some may. The FMCSA's insurance filing data has been unreliable since its 2026 system change, so we don't mark it rather than guess. Every carrier on the list registered in the past week, which is exactly when it has to get coverage in place.

Is the list exclusive?

No. The data is public, so speed matters. The list arrives Monday morning so you can call first.

Can I filter by fleet size or cargo?

Yes. If you only write fleets of a certain size, or don't write hazmat, say so and your list will match.

How do I pay and cancel?

You get a monthly invoice. Reply "cancel" to any list and the next one won't come. No contract.
